With all due respect to newer technologies, I think India needs a different type of ADAS, which prevents drivers from doing stupid things, like turning without indicator, sudden and rash overtake, pushing other cars out of their lane, keeping high beam on at night etc. That would solve most of the problems.

While this feature is of international standard and we should appreciate Mahindra to take the first step in Indian market but in reality the current infrastructure, road sense of other vehicle drivers, pedestrians etc will create a risk if anyone too much rely on this feature.

Great car, but a few drawbacks: 1) The blind spot monitoring is not great. Normally in other cars, you will have some sort of illumination on the mirrors to indicate if the blind spot on either side of the car is clear or not. It also provides a beep if the car detects an obstacle if indicator is activated. On XUV 700, the video may not be clear in the night and it also doesn’t provide an audible warning on detection of a vehicle on the blind spot. This is a huge draw back 2) Atleast on the AX7L model, there should have been a power auto tail gate 3) I drive a Mazda and compared to it the automatic gear knob is not that smooth. It would have been great to have a fly by wire system 4) Apple car play is not enabled here 5) Would have been great if the top model has an inbuilt navigation system Apart from the above issues it is a good car and a great improvement compared to xuv500

no doubt mahindra has made a very good car but what i think where mahindra is left behind is the electic cars. Tata has already launched 2 evs and they are planning to launch 2 more in the year 2022 that is altroz and tiago . Now i want mahindra to work on evs as well . Still first they will be delivering the XUV 700 and launching the new generation scorpio in 2022 . I also think that tata will not modify their harrier and safari much . i think they are just thinking of electric vehicles..still i love XUV 700.......

*You should have a lot of patience and time to use ADAS. It's mostly useless* unless your drive is mostly on National Highways. I can never trust a machine so I prefer hands on steering. It's useful for having quick snacks while driving tho 🌚

2:18 & 6:35 Indicator deke turant lane change na kare, ho sakta h apne mirror me dekha hoga ki apke left me koi nhi h isliye turant change kia hoga, lekin viewer ye nhi samjhenge. Aur log yehi karte h, kyu ki unko maja aata h fatak se wo indicator lever ko on kar k steering ghumane k liye, Hollywood wali feeling aati h unko. Aur iske wajah se ek bar mera accident v hua tha. So pls hamesa chhoti chhoti driving lessons dete rhe logo ko kyu ki apko v pata h hamari driving License test kitna sakht h😄. Koi v eraa gera jake bas ek bar gadi chala k dikha de usse license mil jata h. Aap agar koi ek specific video banaoge rules regulations samjhane k liye toh koi dekhega tak nhi, lekin aese review video k through agar bich bich me driving rules batate rahoge toh logo usse inspire honge.
