This is Jhope, this is his official debut (the other singles, mixtapes like airplane and daydream, etc were just him experimenting with sounds till he finally found the sound he likes, which is Old hip hop beat with rock and for me that's amazing)

IVE BEEN GOING ABSOLUTELY INSANE SINCE THIS MUSIC VIDEO RELEASED IM NORMALLY A VERY CALM AND QUIET PERSON BUT THE FIRST TIME I WATCHED THIS LAST NIGHT I WAS BASICALLY SCREAMING AND MANIACALLY LAUGHING BC OF HOW OVERWHELMED I WAS 😭😭😭 this is a prerelease for his album 'jack in the box' and he's been working on this album since 2018 !!! there isn't a physical copy but you can order it on weverse to get photocards and a qr code to download the album!!! aside from me losing my absolute mind over the music video bc of how FINE HE IS, i'm absolutely OBSESSED with the garage band sound he went with for this song 😭😭😭 imo he's the perfect member to do this kind of music and it just makes me so excited for the whole album bc aside from a lot of the kmusic i listen to, this is the type of "underground band" music i listen to daily 😭 also i'm pretty sure he will release a music video for the title track when the album drops and i'm hoping the mv will be more horror and clown themed compared to this bc of the concept photos he's been dropping on twitter/instagram 😭😭😭😭

I'm so proud of Hobi and didn't expect this at all. I'm loving the beat of this song and I love the drums and guitars and this side of our sunshine is wrecking me badly. This is a different side of hobi I thought I'd never see also I love the MV aswell and I love how his voice sounds as well as how rocky this sounds and I'm also loving this néw look on him aswell and I love how he raps. Basically words can't explain how I'm feeling right now about this song besides being bias wrecked. Hobi has set the bar so damn high for me now, Bangtan chapter 2 is already killing me now.

For me, this is one of the best of J-hope. He really show some good stuff with the fusion between old-school type hiphop beat and rock. Also this song has good lyrics. For the MV, I can feel some Kendrick Lamar type influences from HUMBLE MV. Overall this is masterpiece. 👍

I don't know how to explain, but the music sounded like it's holding itself back 😂 sounded like it was polished for a movie, like it wasn't real guitar playing... I wanted a pure, rock sound like Rage against the machine type. That's my biggest critique. I love J-hope to death, he's my bias, so don't come at me y'all 😂 but I can be objective about it. "the music sounded like it's holding itself back"....that's like the whole point. That's the theme of the album, "Jack In The Box". He is inside a box...most of his desires, wants, wishes and emotions are all bottled up and held back by his idol image and he is trying to break out.

Has always been and now he can . The rap line was promised from beginning that KPOP would not get in way of their rap careers. See rm and Suga struggled and so many said they never saw them under ground so that was a big deal a big conflict but no one ever denied they saw jhope . I am "THIRSTY" for "MORE"!!! "Somebodies favorite song" I think maybe!? "I WANT SOME MORE" music by Jhope. #Jhope_more #Jhopejackinthebox What was the ARMY references? Such a cute cat!! My favorite part of this song production wise is the chorus but I not really a fan of the vocals during it. I do agree it is my favorite song from Jhope but it is a cool concept and very well executed.
