The tracing tip is a really good tip. As a kid, I used to use tracing paper a lot to learn pencil control, and paint by numbers to learn brush control. It was a tip my grandpa showed me, and I listened, because the old guy could paint photo-real portraits in oils. He said that's how he developed his brush control. No matter how bad my drawings sucked, he always encouraged me, and would show me his early work, which was just as garbage. Definitely practice!

THANK YOU! I have been getting so grumpy lol, trying to get the hard/soft brush size thing set up and all videos I have watched had old info and you come along with the ctrl/opt and no right click which is what everyone else has been harping on about and BOOM I'm there. Thank you and nice to get a real video and chat going on in it. :)

Do you have any tips on how to resolve this issue of disconnections and loss of pen detection on the graphics tablet surface, please? I work with the updated driver version of Wacom Intuos Pro PTH 460, Photoshop 2023, and macOS Ventura 13.4. I've already performed all the procedures for installing, reinstalling, cleaning, and updating the macOS, Photoshop, and Wacom systems. Nothing solves it.

One of the most helpful videos I've seen yet on this topic. One question - did you have to buy photoshop seperately to the Wacom tablet or is it already installed on it?

Glad to hear that you found it helpful, thank you! Photoshop is a different program. You can purchase it separately or as a part of the Adobe CC set

You mean draw over them? You could import them, put a new layer on top of that and draw in that layer.

Hey Aaron. If you would press the windows key and type "Wacom" You will find the Wacom Desktop Center. Then go to My Devices and click on your device. :-)

hey man, i have the problem that the pen works faster as the line i want to draw. Do you know about that problem?
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
Hey there, yes I know what the issue is. Sorry to tell you, but that means that your computer/mac is too slow to keep up with your pace. Been there so I know how annoying it is. You could try to speed it up by cleaning your PC or get a new one. Working with the brush tool is a heavy process and takes a lot of your computer. You could try and find of there are settings you can change, but not sure about that.
@av0wly4 жыл бұрын
You may just need to adjust the stabilizer to delay the speed.

I am getting a dot at the end of my brush stroke, not every time but too often. What am I doing wrong, how can I correct this? Thanks, great video!
@ReVoNDesign4 жыл бұрын
You mean an extra dot at the end of the brush (which you intend to make)? That might be due to an bug in your tablet. Resetting it could work. Delete the software and reinstall it.

Hi Vivian! Depends on what you want and your budget. I have a the Intuos Pro size M and it does the job. With a bigger budget you could go for the Large and if you just won the lottery, by the Cintiq pro. That's just a thing of beauty!
