Hello everyone and welcome back to another Halo Reach campaign mod showcase! In this video, we will continue to take another look at the mod that reverses the roles in the Reach campaign, allowing you to play as the Covenant fighting against the UNSC. Just like the two level we've covered so far, this mod takes place in a parallel universe where the members of NOBLE Team were born on the opposite side of the war - making up one of the Covenant's deadly Zealot teams serving the Ministry of Fervent Intercession, in search of rare Forerunner artifacts. Meanwhile the UNSC trains hundreds of 'NOBLE Class' Spartan IIIs to face them. Take on the role of Zealot Team's newest Sangheili, a recently transferred Special Operations Elite known only as Six. Fight alongside the numerous forces of the Covenant armada against the heretical Humans and seek out the holy artifacts that may change the course of the war forever.
This mod is a total conversion of the Halo Reach campaign and includes many changes. Some of them are:
-All Humans infantry, vehicles and weapons have been converted to Covenant equivalents.
-All Covenant infantry, vehicles and weapons have been converted to Human equivalents.
-Each mission has been tweaked to match a player Covenant storyline.
-Allied spawn numbers have been increased to match Covenant numerical superiority.
-Covenant HUD colours and Elite viewmodel added.
-Mission objective text has been rewritten to match a Covenant storyline.
-Balancing tweaks to Human weaponry to account for hitscan more easily hitting the player.
-Small buffs to Covenant weapon damage to encourage players to use thematic equipment.
-Balancing tweaks to the ammo of the Plasma Rifle, Plasma Repeater, Plasma Launcher and Focus Rifle, so you don't run out of Covenant weapons to use during missions.
-Each level has one energy sword hidden somewhere in the map with infinite uses.
-All models in cutscenes have been converted, however they don't animate due to incompatible body types. This means they all look pretty silly, but that should make the cutscenes a lot of fun to watch. Though if you have a good imagination they can still work with the storyline!
Just like ONI Sword Base and Nightfall, this level was a lot of fun to play and I really enjoyed the tweaked objectives to fit the Covenant campaign theme. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to playing more of this mod! TheForlornRaven has done an amazing job with the mod and I couldn't recommend it enough!

One change I would make if I were the mod author, is I would have the Spartans act more like hunters or an actual big threat and have ODSTs be where they are throughout the mod.

What if we had different levels of human soldiers like u say have ODSTs but as jackals, marines as grunts, spartan 3s as elites, spartan 2s( Jorge) as hunters ) . Brutes u might have to double spartan 3s for or add spartan 4s in which would be cool imo.

In the original game you could only see it if you looked down as an elite while the game was lagging really bad or switching hosts

@jordanisgreat 505 That's like saying human guts should all be red. But in reality we're mostly a dull pink, yellow or white inside. While the veins do carry blood, organs themselves have no reason to have coloration since they're made to stay on the inside.

True, but doesn't necessarily mean the whole war, could be like losing a halo ring, or even a whole covenant fleet. The halo universe is expandable. We can have all sorts of campaigns using an elite as the protagonist.

Something similar to halo reach, with different characters but it'll still carry the story instead of being separated from the actual story. The only thing I would add would be at the first Wraith encounter I would’ve had a Guass Hog. And instead of using a Wraith later I still would’ve kept a Revenant for fast movement

The cinematic is all in-engine. So might not be that hard, but a lot of scripting and scene making would be a year long endeavor for just one person to make 45 sec to 1 min scene.

He took a direct hit from a rocket launcher and it took out half his shields. Its just that the bullets shoot at light speed, so.... you can’t really dodge them. Just poke out of cover, shoot, and go back in cover and recover your shields.
