Halo MCC: Halo 3 Campaign Mod- Banished Campaign Pt. 3

What's up everyone and welcome back to another Halo 3 mod showcase! In this video, we will continue to look at the Banished Campaign mod, this time on a modified version of Tsavo Highway. This is Halo 3 - Banished, created by GLaDOSkiller69!

As explained in the other videos covering this campaign, this mod offers a perspective switch on the traditional Halo 3 campaign. Instead of playing as the Master Chief, you play as Craig the Brute among the ranks of The Banished as he fights under then-Sergeant Escharum and an Elite companion. As a Banished soldier, you fight alongside other races such as grunts and brutes. This means you are also an enemy of both the Human-Elite allies AND any Covenant splinter factions. Now that your fighting against the allies, expect to see some heavier firepower and bigger muscle such as the Elite Zealot. All this and more to come in the future.
Some of the features this mod has to offer are:
- Playable Brute
- New weapons (Just Brute plasma rifle for now)
- Alien allies
- New enemy variants
- New Banished themed vehicles
- More AI battles
-New background props added
-Heavy Phantom with 3 turrets (to mimic Halo 2's Phantom)
While I personally found some of the third level to be a little challenging (looking at you Prowler turret), overall the level was very fun to play and I had a blast playing it! This third level is a great addition to the Banished campaign and I highly recommend trying it out!

At first, I thought my favorite part of the mod was being able to use an AA Wraith. ...then I saw the Halo 2 Phantom variant, and _that_ became my most favorite part.

This is really cool - the reinforcements throughout this level really give the impression the banished are definitely well equipped - changes up combat too.

This is cool. How do you locate the squads you want to edit in assembly? I’d like to add some marines and a troop hog to Mombasa Streets. Make it a little less lonely.

Fantastic mod! Love the textures you gave the allied ghosts and banished elites and phantoms. Mixing it up with humans, elites, and jackals is awesome. Some suggestions, make the wraith green like the allies, make the lights of the banished wraith and phantom red like the prowler. The banished phantom near the end confused me because it attacked you. Also, maybe add grunts to the allied side. Make them grunt Heavies and Spec Ops so they can be distinguished for being on the allied side.
