you did a good job of that and made it look "doable" for the non professionals....i have been trying to workout how to tackle this problem on a ford mainline and your explanation makes sense in a relatively easy manner. for grinding inside the lip might i suggest you look at......pferd polifan-curve discs these work fantastic on edge (designed for it) and make that job so much easier cheers joe

I think im going to have to get the gutters on my XB wagon done they do look rather roached out and possibly look bogged up, almost worried about getting it sand blasted to see the extent of swiss cheese :P

Any idea if it is legal to cut the drip rails off and keep them shaved or is it a cert issue dew to change of structure?

The gutters on the car I am working on are so rusty they are mostly missing. I am considering just cutting them off and having no drip rails, it looks cool but I don't know if I should do it or not.
