What determines the outcome depends on who controls the armed forces. I believe Getachew has the upper hand. If the other group tries to oust him by force and is not capable of defending himself, he can always invite the feds to get involved. But I don't think it will come to that. The split is inevitable. The final result is the control of the name TPLF. Whoever controls the name will comply with the law of the land. The loser will end up with a new name, and will also comply with the NEBE requirements. I don't think they will go to war with the federal government. It is all an internal struggle for power.
