英國無會有roundaout，其實個守則同香港分別唔大，呢個無辦法真係要自己多少少駕駛經驗去學識佢，都可以嚟到再搵師傅補少少鐘。如果好驚roundabouts，建議你暫時唔好去Milton Keynes - the capital of roundabouts 🤣🤣🤣

Very informative! At least it's given by someone who has experience of life in the UK, and not by someone who did internet research. The only thing I would add it's that make sure you negotiate on the price when you buy a car in the UK. Plus use Which? and so on to see which child seat is safe.

I suggest if you can, get one in HK, it has less of a language barrier and also you can drive almost right away when u arrive. Driving will make life much easier here, well except you will be in London.

Technically yes, but you have to wait until you have landed certain days before able to exchange to UK licence. Insurance will be expensive with hkg license. Learning in the UK will give you the right experience. There are many Cantonese speaking instructors in London. Best wishes.

英國學車同考車可以報Manual 或 Auto。要留意Manual牌可以揸手波同自動波，但係自動波牌只可以揸自動波車。轉英國牌時都會因應你個香港牌而批你係manual定auto駕駛者，基本上香港自動波牌轉英國牌，嚟到係唔可以揸棍波車，不過可以再上堂考試擰埋個Manual牌嘅。

視乎你的要求，VW Sharon 好但貴，Seat Alhambra 和 Ford Galaxy 質量差；要電車，Toyota Proace Verso 8 人今年春天出，現在只有 Hybrid Toyota Prius Plus 5+2 和 Proace 7 seater。平時如果用7人車，成本太高，因為一般都是2 公升柴油引擎。

Council Tax 你可以揀每個月或每年交。新租單位建議你寫信去council報到，快啲入official record，因為你啱啱嚟到，council嘅record 可以幫助證明你嘅身分。如果有小朋友，更多要有佢先有書讀。

council tax 係固定嘅以n年前嘅樓價計出嚟，一個住址就一個錢，例如一家3/4/5口其實都係一樣價錢。但如果唔係一家人住想分返開計，就要同council報。
