Stars of The Young and the Restless, past and present, chat with Michael Fairman for an exclusive live event to celebrate the series 50th anniversary.

It makes me so sad that Doug Davidson has not been included in this 50th year anniversary celebration. His character of Paul Williams was such a huge part of the cast for decades.

WOW! Thanks for this Michael. Watching this made me realize how much time has gone by. I was 22 years old when Y&R came on and now suddenly I'm 72. I remember all the stories they were talking about. I still remember the first day with the guy (maybe a Foster) was riding into town while hitchhiking in an 18 wheeler if I remember correctly. Seems like he didn't know who he was or maybe he was faking it. SO many of the greats have left this world like Katherine, Neil & John Abbott. Thanks again Michael. You're the best!

The story is he was asked to come back and he refused. Has anyone ever wondered why with his apparent huge fan base no other Soap has ever picked him up? Sounds like he’s a problem.

I hope Scott Reeves will come back to a daytime drama. I would love to see him come to B&B and work with Heather Tom again, or come back to The Young and the Restless or General Hospital.

Congrats to YNR, 50 yrs. I love the show very much. Just wish that there were a few more characters that were brought back for this celebration. Paul aka Doug Douglas for one. Another Gloria aka Judith Chapman, she's a riot. I would love to see her reaction to Jack's engagement to ugh Diane. We will never forget those who are gone... Katherine, Neil - Loved the tribute to Kristoff. Also John and Rex. Here's to many more years!!!

I have watched since the premiere. I was 20, and am still watching now. yes, I am that old. I have met several member of the cast, one being Doug. he came to Oneonta NY (about 30 minutes from Cooperstown and the National Baseball Hall of Fame). Autumn in upstate NY is amazing! we have a beautiful venue here and everyone would be most welcome. Michael, thank you for these interviews. You are the BEST. um so what??? lol melissa has been on this show for like 11 years now and Jason for 7 it's not like their newbies lol and he probably asked a bunch and got the ones he could get lol scott hadn't been on the show since like the early 2000's and yes here lol ryan being on the show for a long time doesn't matter the actor hasn't been there in like 20 years lol why ppl have to complain about why this or that actor is there is beyond me lol
