Wow this was so good I could follow it. The Holy Ghost will help you if you truly believe. I have so many learning disabilities. I don't like to admit to. I have fiberomyalgia and neuropathy it's crippling so much pain. I was brought up in the gospel. I'm so grateful for modern technology so I can listen and finally learn. The Holy Ghost prepared me for many years of our marriage I kept telling my husband in our later years we would live where it's cold. When he told me about the interview he told me laughing. Just a comment about "sin lieth at the door". I like to use the New International Version, the Cultural backgrounds Study Bible edition. It is full of articles and commentary that compares and contrasts the text of the Bible to it's cultural surroundings,( in order to clarify the context in which a story or saying might have been understood in it's original setting. This is the footnote to Gen 4:6 (which here is translated as "...sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you...": "Recent commentators have preferred seeing the particle 'crouching' (Hebrew 'robes') as a reference to a well known Mesopotamian demon (rabisu) who lingers around doorways. 'Sin' is then portrayed as a doorway demon waiting for its victim to cross the threshold." I'm not saying that Genesis is confirming the existense of some 'doorway demon', but rather using a culturally familiar idea to paint a picture. I especially liked the idea of sin waiting on the other side of a threshold, as if it can do nothing until you yourself take the step across the threshold into a danger zone.
