Ignore the ignorant here, you are doing a great job...it is long overdue that ETV(EBC)has recognized your talent and hope puts your experience to use...you have also mentioned some important points about how Ethiopia's tourism industry is out of touch...a country that has a serious image problem charging excessive amount of money for visa, extorting tourists through hassles and overcharging just because they are foreigners and so on...why would for example any sane person travel all the way to Lalibela and pay additional 100 dollars just to visit enter a site...yes some might do it but you can not bank on a few adventurous tourists and expect to compete with the likes of Kenya and many others who make their country more accessible and affordable...I am sorry to say this, but the people in charge of Tourist industry in Ethiopia tent to live on a planet of their own...
