Thank you for the video and the explanation of this important event. I lived the first half of my life all for myself and made a debauchery out of my life and I lost everything and everyone and I gave the rest away. Now am convinced that without the Master my life isn’t worth living because nothing ever works out. I now am willing to give my last half of my life to God and serve him until the race is over. I don’t think God needs me for any important role. Am pretty much useless and a nobody in the eyes of the world but I sure do need God! Whatever he wants me to do, whatever town he wants me to move to. Whatever the sacrifice, am willing and I hope able. Where else is there to go? Who else has the words of eternal life? “Lead the Way Master and like St. Matthew, I will leave my tax collectors booth and follow Thee wherever Thou goes.” Lead on.

We Orthodox should do something about our calendars asap! You got me so confused with the feast day of the Presentation of our Lord. I was sure that it is on the February 15th, so it took me some time to figure out that it is on the 2nd just according to the old calendar (which is 15th) according to the new. It would be much better if we celebrated on the same days.

This is very nice. It definitely explains further, our religion, aside from: what Yaya says, what we sing in the choir, what is done in Europe. I rarely attended American Sunday school because we watched my brothers be alter boys, or we sang in the choir, or Yaya would just tell us how it's done in Greece (there was no Sunday School, everyone attended mass and that was it). Thank you 💟
