Y62 Patrol - Everything You NEED To Know About Lifting (Intro)

Hi Dave, Thank you for all the videos and work You do for the y62 community. Without this help I’d be lost. My question: since lifting my Y62 using the ASG Kit (GVM upgrade to 4.2t with control arms etc) I also added larger tyres (Yoko’s 295s) I have found I have a steering wheel shudder when I turn right, though only from a standing stop and not while moving. The mechanic / installer said that it had nothing to do with the lift and is related to the power steering pump struggling under load of the tyres. I don’t know if this is a common issue but I was not aware of this problem until the lift and tyres. Can you or Steve please give us some information about this problem?
