This is a really good conversation. I remember years ago when lebron won his first ring i thought to myself that the ring by itself doesnt make you better especially since you need a team around you to win at that level. Lebron has been on a bad team for most of his career and he currently has 4. MJ was one arguably the best team ever for most of his career and he has 6. Take rings away and the conversation get MUCH MORE interesting because now the conversation becomes more focused on the player themselves.
