Episode 2 implied Stollas was in an unhappy arranged marriage. And based on his royal blood, it’s doubtful leaving was ever an option plus Stollas is too gentle of a soul to try without being pushed to edge. Now, though, they filled in the gaps with this episode so we could see just how absolutely insane it really was.

One thing of note is that Blitz when he was young was Red all over but now has White marks all over his body. Those are scars and the only thing that can cause those kind of scars is Holy weapons.

Not Just Holy Weapons, any kind of weapon can provoke those scars, it has never been stated (to my knowledge) that those white scars are provoked specifically by Holly Weapons.

Holy weapons are required to kill high ranking demon royalty and sinners but normal weapons can hurt lower ranking demons like imps just fine. That’s why so many imps have scars. It’s also why stolice like rough sex because nothing but an angel weapon can actually hurt him.

It seems interesting to say that Stolas felt close to imps as being a friend instead of a servant or lower level species of Hell out there as his father, ex wife and other royal figure see Imps as servants or things. Also did anyone notice the symbolism of the “Color Balloons” being Blitz and Fizz to foreshadow some event to happen in the future selves. As Green symbolizes Fizz with no limbs and being afraid of blood. While Blitz being Red with all his limps intact. 🤔 As there might be something about it that we might see in future episode of how did Fizz lose his limps. With that said, keep in mind about the “Crystals” from the book as it carry a powerful ability to grain succubus/incubus to turn into human and teleport them to the human surface. So Stolas might be thinking to get Blitz a crystal to not require the book when I.M.P goes up to the human surface and gain power of becoming Human instead of wearing human disguises.

Spoilers aside (because the confirmed part of your comment is definitely correct), I think it’s still a bit too positive to say Stolas treats imps in general as friends. He definitely doesn’t exactly discriminate against them or poor people despite his careless language, but “friends” (or “equals”) is a bit of a stretch.

They both (blitzo n stolas) grew up n messed up homes so they relationship is gonna be rocky due to their misunderstandings and lack of confronting true intentions.
