That home makes me nostalgic. Kinda hard to believe once it contained actors, directors and crew members of Swades. Their hard work shows in the movie. The set was beyond beautiful. Somehow reminds me of our childhood home. The same time when the movie was released. The aura of early 2000s, the freshness, the memories, all somehow linked with the movies and music of that period. The hard work of Swades’s team and ShahRukh Khan is very appreciated. Imagination of Ashutosh Govarikar is marvellous. Acting skills of ShahRukh Khan, Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal(Kaveri Amma), Rajesh Vivek(Nivaran Ji) and all the actors whose names I am forgetting( apologies) was outstanding in this movie & other movies no doubt. Even I liked the house in swades, in Kerala, this design is called #Nallukattu meaning 4 side courtyard.. 7 yrs back, I had tried to reach Wai village, but since we were coming from Panchgani, and were tired and the road to wai was dusty and broken, we had to turn back... Wai village is used in many many movies of India... Thanks for taking the effort!
