Yeah, I can't believe I've been playing it wrong my whole life! That's what you get for having a rule set from Scandinavia I guess. Thankfully there are very astute KZbinrs out there.

@@Play-In-Games your videos are great! Don't worry. Besides it's not wrong. There are two different rule sets. American Yahtzee and Scandanavian Yatzy. Many people are only familiar with the American rules but millions play the other way.

I am confused can you explain me , there are 2 section upper and lower . So can we mark the point in both section or only on one of the section 2. So we have 13 chances right so each 3 rolls is one chance or its equall to 3 chances?(13-3)

Yes, excellent question. There are a grand total of 13 scoring spots (top and bottom combined). On your turn you must score in one and only one of the 13 spots. So it sounds like you’ve got the concept correct, 13 turns, 3 max rolls per turn. So why are there 2 sections you may ask? It’s because some people like to play that you must complete the upper section before doing the lower one. There is an even sillier variation in which people play that you must play each of the 13 sections in exact order. That gameplay isn’t recommended as it is lame. I recommend the way shown in this video as it is the most fun. Hope this helps!

Still, we are more likely slobs than snobs, so we can be grateful the ennui (coz I'm sure they called it ennui, not boredom) got to those snobs and they did the heavy lifting for us.
