Salvia was one of the most terrifying experiences I've ever had. Nothing particularly untoward happened; my body went all rubbery and got squeezed like a toothpaste tube til I felt like all my innards were in my head, then it went "pop" and I passed out, saw a load of disjointed visions about half-remembered places and situations, then I awoke to find I was arranging all the items on my table into concentric circles and couldn't walk for an hour. For some reason, though, the whole experience really frightened me, and I never touched it again.

Well, I assumed the circuits and servos required to make the robot work were inside the exoskeleton. Nothing says it has to be organic material inside for it to be called an exoskeleton. And then when the add on the skin later, (which I assume was some kind of upgrade? Because they showed lots of terminators running around shooting and stepping on the skulls of humans) then the exoskeleton becomes an endoskeleton. But now this is turning into some bizarre turducken discussion and they're probably laughing at how we've put too much thought into it!

Interesting that you joked about if they made a separate, more fun SWAT simulation game, because Police Quest: SWAT is a direct descendant of this series, which eventually spawned SWAT 3, a first-person shooter. SWAT 4 is the final title in the franchise (also a tactical FPS), and is actually quite fun despite 2005 graphics and has become something of a cult classic.
