Peak moment for me playing Yak-38 was when i tried to lock on F-104 which was higher than me by at least 1500 meters, but missile locked onto the sun. One can imagine my amazement when F-104. He tried to turn around and kill me, but passed the sun just at the right moment so R-60 killed him. Poor guy.

Most of them don't flare early on in the game. They simply don't expect someone to be behind them when they're still barely halfway to the battlefield, so you can just AIM9B them in a supersonic.

Due to the planes low heat signature u can put a rocket pod on Then turn of engine and fire rocket it can even dodge an aim 9l In perfect scenario Now out of the technical stuff We need a vid where u hover over a base with 4 r60 and when I plane comes to bombs u r there standing like a heli

If you are using for cas, it should not be so bad, I don’t play ground so I don’t know. However in air it is in a weird spot, it is a meme plane, usually it is absolute trash, it loses all its energy over a 2 G turn. But the best part about this plane is that it can see 8.3, and most planes at 8.3-9.7 doesn’t have flares, and if you get a rear aspect R60 shot close enough it will absolutely obliterate everyone. R60 is undodgeable with a good launch. But hey, vtol boi go brrrrrrt😂
