With this quality of editing and content in general I’m amazed by the fact he only has 190 k subscribers. Honestly one of the best fishing channels, he cuts straight to the good content and never releases a badly edited or bad video in general. I am hooked 🎣

Gotta love Horn Rock :) I went there first in 1974 in a 12ft sailing catamaran and came home with 2 kingies :) done it a thousand times since. Those cliffs on Little Barrier Island in the background I call the pink cliffs because when that dawn light gets them at the right angle its a wonderous thing.

Thanks for introducing me to this place, Robert--it is now on my bucket list. Have you, or do you plan to try some of the other fisheries in New Zealand? I've seen some outrageous NZ trout fishing episodes on YT. How 'bout a catch--smoke--eat episode on NZ eel fishing? The eels are massive down there, and on a kayak it would be wild and challenging.

Youre like the only big charter that ive seen that actually bleeds your fish. Its kinda annoying when people dont because they arnt getting the beat quality meat possible
@DiabetoDan4 жыл бұрын
If you want best quality, kill the fish instantly with a spike to the brain (ikejime method from Japan) and then bleed. I've got no qualms about killing fish, but acting like letting them bleed out and/or freeze to death is more humane is intellectually dishonest IMO. (Not to say you were doing that, I just feel pretty strongly about this)

Bro, shocking. Never want to believe rumors (fishing guide world), but dang, I guess you DO dislike/discriminate against African Americans, Hispanics and gays. You promote your business for people to book trips with you, yet you end your video bashing gays? Holy crap. Interesting marketing. Man I feel for Ivy Harris, who has a great reputation, and those Panamanians and Hispanic guides in Mexico. After this video I can only imagine what you (and Marty) say behind their backs.
@YakFishField4 жыл бұрын
Where was I bashing gays? Saying the “G word” doesn’t equate to bashing. I have a lot of gay friends. And no idea where you’re pulling these thoughts about Mexicans and African Americans...? You think I have a problem with them when I speak fluent Spanish, grew up in Venezuela, and i invite one of my best fishing friends (who is black) on all these trips? Think before you get your liberal panties in a bunch. You’re after the wrong guy amigo. Take care ✌🏼
