What if apps settings are not available in my sony android tv? There is no such option in mine

By default, you won't get additional speed using ethernet as most TVs don't have gigabit ethernet. On my Sony x95j, I connected a USB -> gigabit LAN adaptor to achieve faster speeds but out of the box, wifi will be faster.

@@SuperEddietvi have X90K and tried the same before understanding my IPS connection is below 100. Adaptor will work of you have an above 100 mb connection.
