Yamaha 115 tilt and trim refill

To folks looking this up- you can use normal automatic transmission fluid for this if needed.. check your fluids about once a week if you’re an avid boater 🤙🏼

@ 1:08 that is such a danergous thing to do - you can EASILY lose a finger. hydraulics let go when they hit air bubbles. nice.

What caused the fuel pump to fail? Because in the span of 6 months, he changed three times, and I don't know why

Internal float was not sending the signal, just got old I guess

Dumb question same motor once it hits the trim rods is it normal to be that slow going to trim down to transom feel like mine is super slow

Hey Corey , yea mine is slow too, it’s supposed to be slow , then the big one goes faster

Yea , - as you already know.. but the REASONING for this is when you are that low in trim, the corrections are smaller due to the speeds you may be at for low trim( on plane perhaps) so your trim inputs don’t “over correct” per se

When i trim down a ton of foamy fluid comes out the top of the cylinder is that normal

No it’s not , your seal is broken and leaking

Yes I did , leaking right by the cylinder and the top of the reservoir too.
