Yamaha A3R Acoustic Electric Guitar Test

Quick story ; 4 years ago I went to a guitar store to see a friend, He was busy so he asked me to wait and handed me this guitar and said play this while you wait, when he returned , I had bought the guitar .A3R. Love it ! Recently I bought the AC3M, love it !

It's nice to have a demo posted by someone that isn't banging on the stings like a chimpanzee . I'm still undecided on which cutaway to purchase . I like the Yairi gym 80 ce but it's so expensive 🤔😊

really sound too much compressed (not really open) I way prefer fgx3 and LL16, but this one is the one that should be the best for stage. Maybe a tusk nut and saddle could fix that tinny sound ?

A/B'd one of these and a OO 18 one day. Walked away with the 18. So much more alive. But, if they had not had the 18, I would probably have one of these.

I have the last version with more mic selections and it has the best electronics I ever played. My 1983 Yamaha L10-A has a better acoustic sound but the A3R sounds as good or better direct than using a good condenser mic

Yes i adjust truss rod only

please tell me, do you also have a lot of white noise from the preamp in the line?

I tried one out in a guitar shop and the white noise was pretty loud. Bought a Taylor in the end.
