When mine high revs its starving for gas.i noticed mine doin that and I looked at carb thought it was carb related and it was bone dry wasn't getting gas ..I double checked n made sure that it wasn't getting gas I turned gas on and use fuel screw to drain gas and tried to start it high reved then I made sure that I was getting gas it was flowing started up no more high rev. It did it a few times so I either had a clog or float cleaned all carb again the right way made sure fuel was flowing and haven't had problem since...thats just something else to check if not an air leak

I have A full tank of gas and it’s having no problems with that, I took the line that feeds to the Carb and there is gas coming out of there took the screw out of the carb bowl and fuel is coming out of there. So it’s definitely not the problem there.

@@BTR2018 did it drain out the hose on bottom of carb ..mine did that 2 weird but it was coming out the screw if it took off but when I put screw back in and tried to see if it drain out hose pointing to ground(the gas drain hose) it would come out then stop i had to tap on it a lil to get gas to drain n make sure its flowing right..hose isn't clogged because gas drains out of it it was something with my floats or something..I cleaned carb like it was brand new and I used compressed air for jets and put it back together and it flow prefect now..had drained it to change out my gas ..ran out of gas so I had to put 87 in it but I normally run 93 so I had to refill and haven't had high rev problem since ..

@@kelseymoe2259 I found the problem it was the crank seal on the clutch side. No more high revs. Easy to adjust the carb now :)

Might want to check your piston after it’s been burning gear oil. It’s probably dieseling because the rings are bad from the high pressure

I just got my blaster back together and it only runs on half choke. It dies no choke or full choke. Idles great half choke. I tried a 35 pilot jet and cleaning the carb 5 times. It's an oem makuni carb. Did a leak down test and fixed the pipe flange leak. I am stumped? I even sprayed carb cleaner everywhere while running and nothing. Could it be a interior gasket leak? I saw the stater gasket and that looks great but not the other side. Keep up the great videos.

Have you tried changing out the spark plug what year is your blaster and what spark plug number are you using are you using a NGK spark plug?

@@BTR2018 thanks for getting back to me. 2001 and a new ngk br7es is what the shop gave me. I believe the stock is br8es? Would that make a difference?

@@jamestownsendjrtbees3226 yes It will definitely make a big difference, use a B8es that’s what it is supposed to be. 03-06 used br8es.

@@BTR2018 thanks, I just ordered one, hopefully that helps. I did put a tors delete cap on the oem carb. Would the slide or needle have anything to do with the choke or idle? Thanks for your time

Long story short picked up a blaster just to get it running I put that 2stroke gas from Home Depot is that good or bad since I hear gas plays a role in this

It’s not bad but it’s just a waste of money I would just run regular non-ethanol gas which would be the best in my opinion.

After you fixed the seal it idled lower ? I’m having the high idle also . I put 2 brand new carbs on same thing high idle not the cable or the slide . I hope it’s the seal . I checked my comp it’s at 180lbs It’s a 110cc 4 stroke engine.

It’s a little different on the 4 strokes, it it’s bad seals it would leak oil.

@@whowho7969 4 stroke are different from 2 stroke, could be a dirty carb or the throttle cable needs to be adjusted. Please like and subscribe thanks

After around 10 minutes of my blaster running it completely jumps to full throttle with the same kill switch wont do it everyone tells me its the cable but iv cleaned it so many times would this video just be the only solution

It’s definitely an air leak somewhere! Most likely on the flywheel side crank.

Lots of thing can cause that, air leak carb needs cleaning.
