Yamaha Blaster Top End Assembly

Follow along as we reinstall our Yamaha Blaster top end. We have a .090 over cylinder and Vito's Super Stock piston. We are hoping to break it in this week. Thanks for watching!!

We are working on it!!! Just super hot and humid in Pa so we took most of the summer off to relax and work on some other things. We plan on hitting it hard this fall/winter/spring!!!!!

Hey Mike how about a Yamaha Blaster 200 doing a top end kit on it and apparently the piston was cracked all the way around in the bottom part and the lower part of the case is cracked I was wondering if I still put it together will it run for a while hopefully you could think help me out thanks.

Hey what do I use to tighten the lug nuts the base nuts because Nothing fits socket adjustable anything at all it's driving me crazy is there a special tool

hey. on a yamaha blaster, when you rebuild the top end, does weisco brand come with a new cylinder head? if it doesn't, can you use a different cheaper brand?

hay my dude, I was riding my blaster and it just stopped. I pushed it back to my house. I kicked it at my house and it started but as i was taking off it died. i tried again and now it wont start. so I did the usual stuff you do changed spark plug, etc. i checked compression and it was at 90. I think i need a new top end but im not sure.

have you done a leak down test to verify there isnt any air leaks

stock like 50-55. but that can be changed with gearing and tire size

+Dominator 235 yeah they all have the oil injection. most blasters have that deleted

Stock i got mine to 55mph, change to fmf gold series pipe and fmf slip on, also did vforce4 reed box and vforce4 reeds smaller tires got it to 60 mph right front shock broke had to stop or die.

My local shop is trying to charge me 680 in labor for a top and rebuild that seems crazy to me is that normal?

before comiting to any shop prices i would call around to a few places and see what qoutes you get. is that shop price include boring and honing the cylinder?

Wiseco topend kit 168 bucks on ebay most shops around me charge 125 to do the labor. 600 way to much

where does your stator wire connect to?

they connect to your wiring harness. if you google blaster wiring diagram, there are a number of pictures out there
