Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed the analogy of a neighborhood that assigns a IP to each house. I have such a hard time connecting my iPad to most Yamaha boards. I keep getting connection errors. I find it very frustrating as I use the same iPad and wireless router on all my gigs and with many different digital mixing consoles, (Midas, Behringer, Soundcraft, etc) and only the Yamaha boards have issues connecting.

AES out of the console for the drive lines, which is pretty standard.

How can you open a CL5 scene (saved on a USB stick as a .CLF file) inside CL Editor. I keep getting this message : Load operation not complete due to an error. Different Kinds of Data! (-7) The file kind is 'SCENE MEMORY'. Only works when I save "ALL" console but it doesn't make any sense... If anyone could help me 🙏

Hi this is from Brian: Typically A .CLF file is a “show” file and contains all the scenes saved plus all the other relevant patching and setup date. Are you trying to open the file in the scene manager in Editor or using a standard “open file” under the menu like in any other program? The latter will open it if it’s a show file. Then you can recall a scene using the master section of CL Editor.

​@@theproductionacademy Okaaay you actually helped me a lot here ! It's the other way around, I didn't know about the Scene Memory tab. Window > Scene > Scene memory, and from there I can open the .CLF file containing a scene ! Thank you :)
