Woody when it comes to art and music , the masters already painted and composed the masterpieces ,,to touch one is wrong ,, once i hear a song I Love for the first time ,, even if the original artist redoes it , its not the same ,,we all as artist musicians writers , what ever we do we should always listen to the spirit of art and music and create something new every time we play ,,,something that is new we must break the rules in order to make new creations come to life ,,what has been seen has been seen what has been heard has been heard ,,, If you Loved it I Love it as I first seen it or heard it always ,,,butcher the classics that is called growing as a artist ..or dont touch them at all..,,the original was prefected and needs not to be changed in any way Love it as it was Loved when you first heard it or seen it ...

I own one of these. This will probably be the last keyboard I buy because it meets all my needs ( along with my Arturia mini). It’s extremely smart and versatile for a $900 keyboard. I’ve had a motif, DX, a Juno 88 and various other controllers. Also had a Casio Synth from 2013, Can’t remember the model but the DGX is the most fun for home recording and playing. I’ve already figured out the new Bruno Mars song, die with a smile, using a preset accompaniment. It’s not perfect but still amazingly FUN!!!. The other thing about the Dgx is that many of the other arranger keyboards ( Yamaha) Styles will work. Just need to use a thumb drive. Not all will work but many do. I probably have 300 additional styles. I wish I’d had more MIDI control but that’s what the Arturia is for. It’s a great buy for a note pad and for playing at home. Highly recommended!!!

I don't think it will be too long before we see a DGX-680. This range is the best 'value for money' keyboard you can buy Imho, and that's coming from a PA5X & Nautilus owner !!

Hi Woody! A fun video! Did the DGX-670 replace your P-121 digital piano in every way? Apart from having full 88 keys, how would you compare the quality of the sound through the speakers and the selection of piano sounds between the two? Cheers - Tunka

Hi, yes rhe 121 departed to fund the DGX, which is an upgrade, even if you just ocmpare the piano functionality. better piano samples, more of them, the piano room, speakers seems better, louder, fuller and clearer on the DGX and enjoying having 88!
