Bro do dt175 headblock ports can be done fitted on RX 135 cc engines, like clutch bell Reed valve CARBURETOR the 1st model Japanese with pistons kits, rectifire magnet coil to make 199cc with powerful engine pickup, do that is possible.

Hey Logan, can I put a 1976 MX 175 cylinder head and jug on a 1975 DT 175 ?

I haven't really tinkered with one that old unfortunately, as mine is a 88. I would compare the stud pattern, rod specs and the port mounting dimensions. I have a 175 mx barrel I could measure if that helps. Cheers Logan

What dimension are you after? My dt175 has a 66mm bore x 50mm stroke

Did you take a compression test before or after?

With the different gaskets the compression ratio is just above 7to1. Stock 6.6to1. I did a leak test after rebuild and it was like new.
