Hi, I'm from Nicaragua, Central America. In 1992 I bought a 2-stroke yamaha gt 80cc motorcycle, I bought it from a neighbor for US$800 with an 8-month term but since I had an accident 2 times, I paid for it in 10 months hahaha. In 1995 I sold it and I regret it to this day because I lent that money plus US$200 to add US$1,000 and they didn't pay me, my father's cousin was my rat lawyer hahaha Until now when I see this video and hear that sound it came to me mind my cute little Yamaha GT 80cc two-stroke motorcycle. GOD BLESS YOU MUCH MORE.

I know what you mean about after market garbage. I've gotten a lot of them rebuilding my 71 Triumph bobber.

It's the worst!!! You get loured in by cheap prices then you get non usable parts for your cash!!! 😤😡😡

@@kentuckyyankee Yeah I've ordered clutch cables for a TR6 and there is no adjuster for it for the kicker cover. There is no adjuster at all. I seem to have to make my own out of spare parts. One was a Barnet. You would think they would do some research.

Hm, that clonking noise in the forks could be a missing hard rubber stop bushing, not sure... I just love your approach to problem solving, reminds me of how I do things!!! Big thanks for this video Benny!!

Thanks Tom, would make sense that there should be a rubber stop 🤔 I will check the diagram again.

I just aquired one of these that has the same exact problem with the shocks. Appreciate the comment. I hope I can fix it. Everything else on my rig looks good

Cool bike. Keep an eye out for the old Suzuki 185 from the early 70’s a single cylinder two stroke that was a good motorbike. Worth restoring.

Your right, best to get the real deal on parts, i got stung like that on a RD350 Yam rebuild, had to go back for the genuine parts. Learned a lesson which was: dont be a stingy tight wad in future. Looking good that bike, enjoying the videos.

Thanks! Hard to pass up parts that are half price but really they cost 1 and 1/2 more 😂😂

I don't understand how speedo cables in general last that long. These should get hot and seize up within 5 minutes of riding. Engineering magic I guess lol
