That sounds like a Shadow. Not too sure on the displacement, but it's definitely a Japanese twin and I see the Shadows going in the sub-$2,000 price range.

It's a VTX1800. All these dudes saying Victory need to realize that it has dual front brakes, which very few Victorys have. The VTX1800 has dual front brakes. Sounded like a VTX as well

hey jon, i have a 99 v-max i love dearly, although i wish for a generation 2 also. then again i believe they need build a 3 liter v-4 bike as generation 3. about 350 horsepower from naturally aspirated engine plenty torque also. yeah buddy

V-max has one of the best motors ever. They put it in the Venture Royal, the Royal Star, Royal Star Venture, and the tour deluxe. Plenty of ventures (1st and 2nd gen) out there with 200,000 plus miles on them.

I'm gonna have to go with a Victory Vegas. Not sure what year, but I'm almost positive the early Vegas models had wheels similar to that. Plus the engine sound like a signature Victory engine, very whiny and high pitched. I own a '13 Vegas 8ball and a '11 Cross Country. Both great bikes

I bought my vmax 2nd gen in time! The Vmax is the world's fastest cruiser. It's falls in the category of muscle cruiser. I think Yamaha should create an electric Vmax.

@@jared2661able Good choice! The Vmax has been the world's most powerful muscle cruiser since 1985. It was already a rare bike. Now that Yamaha has discontinued it the resale will go up.

Get your hands on an oldschool 1st gen Honda Magna v65 or v45. I loved the v45 for how much power it put out with just 750cc.

The problem with vmax is mileage, 15 liter gas tank is too small for 1700cc engine that revs high. Ppl avoid It n buy different premium bikes. And new Rocket III fells much more usable also with 2500cc engine. If Yamaha bring Vmax back, It needs fuel efficiency update or ppl cant use It again.

I comented the manufacturer i triumph. Model is thunderbird. Going just off of the weel and rotor. I didn't have audio on last night. I slept over it and that's what I think it is. A triumph Thunderbird

Yamaha killed the vmax when they watered down the 1700 version. It should have been monsterous, the original vmax was the nastiest thing on wheels when it came out. The new one just doesn't live up to it's predecessor.

BS. Gen2 is on a totally different level I own both in original condition and whenevee I switch from Gen2 to Gen1 the Gen1 feels so tiny. Gen2 feels so much bigger and stronger and to this day there is no bike that outperforms the Gen2 in 0-60 mph… very few can keep Up in 0-100 mph. That is 10+ years after it was launched. Yamaha took its time to develop the Gen2 and they did a fantastic job. The Gen1 is still a fantastic bike but it was launched 35 years ago. Imagine that! Compare any bike 35 years after it came in the market.

VMAX is my 2nd favorite bike after the Fat Boy. It's a shame it's going away. VMAX 2nd gen is one of the fastest accelerating bikes in history. As fast as a Hennessy Venom GT in 0-60.
