I really do appreciate you for taking the time to explain this recording process. What really impressed me was when you recommended using an outside program like the iPad for simplicity. I think that's what I'm going to do because these how to keyboard videos from various users can become complicated. You've just helped me with my decision on which keyboard to buy. Oh yes!!! As far as I understand this machine, THIS FEATURE should be the FAR MOST MIGHTY one in order to play complete/complex arrangements. I thank you very much! For (passionate single) players like me it should deliver the (different) accompaniment parts, on which I would play the melodie.

Great video as usual Eddie, very helpful. I used your Modx sequencer from scratch as my road map after I first purchased my Modx. I tried using Cubase on my PC not Cubasis to record some acoustic stuff got very frustrated It kept crashing. Maybe I will try Cubasis at your recommendation. I am definitely going to get your book. Thanks again.

It can be frustrating to use a computer and get everything to work correctly. Once it does they change operating systems or some other upgrades and it throws everything into chaos. I think the best recording setup is a simple one. I love working with Logic and 3rd party plug-ins like Omnisphere, Kontact etc. However, it can be so frustrating every time Apple changes something. So I love the simplicity of Cubasis because it has almost everything you need to produce a decent project. Happy recording!

Thank you, that is a really helpful video! When using Cubasis and doing all the tracks in MIDI, is there an easy way to render the MIDI tracks into audio tracks or do I have to record track after track in real time? Cheers

Yes you can render the MIDI tracks into audio. However, you could just record to audio directly unless you want to quantize. I guess it depends of the kind/genre of music you’re playing. I prefer to not quantize to let the music breath more for all types of Jazz, Rock, ballads etc. And I quantize on Dance music, Techno, Electronic etc.

The song that you record you record on the keyboard and it stays on the keyboard unless you wanna export to a thumbdrive
