This is only 1 type of split, the classic bass on the bottom, piano on top for the loungey type gigs or the 1-man band format. The simplest type of split on this keyboard. But many of us don't need to use to use this format. How about setting up a split with the upper range piano on the lower keys and flute or brass or say, violin on the upper keys?? How would you go about setting this up?

Hi, thanks for the video. I just want to know how to change the octave of each instrument. For example how to change the bass into a lower octave and also the piano separetly. Because when I change the octave both instruments change at the same time. Sorry about my english.

yes you can edit the voices individually, press performance them edit and them select the parts that you need to edit. to select the parts click on the numbers 1 through 8 that are next to the part control bottom. if you just hit edit it will take you to a common edit.

Hi Adrian, how do you set the volume for each instrument when the keyboard is split?

After you selected the split voice, go back to performance then select voice using the function keys below the screen then press the two keys besides the knobs together then use the knobs to control the volume
