Review of the Yamaha MT 10 which was kindly lent to me by the guys at Laguna Motorcycles - www.laguna.co.uk/
Mantal is the first word that comes to mind when reviewing the Yamaha MT 10. The MT 10 has so much power behind it that it feels like sitting on a missile ready for action. The Yamaha MT 10 handles brilliantly though so that missile feels laser guided rather than a fire and hope.
Immense torque is delivered through the MT 10 by the Yamaha R1 derived engine leaving you giggling like a school kid with every twist of the wrist.
Solid brakes, perfect weight distribution, throttle feedback and seating position all combine to make the Yamaha very easy to ride. The difficult comes in reining oneself in. The MT 10 has so much power you could quite happily never get higher than 3rd gear!
It has a few rider modes and I could definitely notice a difference between road and sport mode. Road mode on the MT10 was perfectly fine and where I would probably mostly stay if I had one however sport mode adds another level to the bike which is worth experiencing.
The Yamaha MT 10 comes in 3 colour options - Ice Fluo, Black or blue
