€1200 for a second (or replacement) 1KW battery. That seems quite high, TBH (simply comparing to lithium battery powercell costs). But much worse is the glacial recharge time. That is ridiculously long. I can only assume they have throttled the BMS to avoid the potential of battery fires. And really - no ABS? That's unfortunate. Otherwise, a nice first attempt

Electric vehicles are like that. Expensive and uncomfortable. Ford made a decision to push forward the electrification, maybe they are right.

I couldn't wait for a Japanese electric scooter to come on the market but now I see its too slow. At 45kph I would be tail gated all the way to work which is too dangerous.

My Iva S4 does 120 km / 75 miles on a charge and was cheaper with 2 batteries than this yamahahaha joke is with only one battery. Recharging my 2 batteries takes as long as the Neo's 1 battery. Ive had a Yamaha FS1, Aerox and Neos (all 2-stroke) but had to break brand when switching to electric. Which is great btw, my solar panels charge it, i drive for 'free' :D

Take out the battery and charge it at your workplace, that’s what Vietnamese do. And the range of 1 battery is 72km for full charge. The price of this moped in Vietnam is now under 2000 EURO. That’s 2023 configuration in Vietnam, the country the moped is assembled
