Hello! What about a durability of keys, how long it can be not damaged if to play every day during a few hours? It is very well known that keys are under deep pressing impact. The plastic ig good or weak? The keys give not click-click sounds or freeze in its bed-frame?

I've had one now for five years. It's a great digital piano for the price. However, what you don't hear in this video is just how loudly the keys clatter when you play, which can be somewhat annoying--especially to others in the room when you're playing with headphones.

I bought the latest es110 and within one week I knew I hated it. The sound quality was just not natural to me, as much as I had hoped after watching and reading all the comparisons and reviews. I was very disappointed and sold it. Now I am going to buy a p125. These are really the only 2 choices at this price point. The other is the Casio p160 which also sounds disappointing to me.....PS, I am a professional level jazz pianist so really picky about music / sound quality...Cheers, Mario

Great review - agonizing between this and the DGX670 (the 670 would be wonderful for home recording but it's a bit gigantic and heavy to gig with, and no line out ports; and I do have a PSR-EW425 which is like a "DGX Lite" anyways); any rumours of a P-135 anytime in 2022?

An amplifier would be good to fill the space a little more and cut through over the choir. However, the P125 does have very good speakers.

Hello did you know that if you add the three pedal that is the furniture with it as well and then once you have it all together and press the piano button and the C6 that is more so the C sharp you will have a keyboard that sounds almost identical to the Kawai es110 I've done it and I love it

Yamaha has the best sounding piano samples. Simple as that. If you want a realistic piano sound, get this. If you're more into electric sounds, rhodes/wurlitzers etc., browse around other companies. Grand piano lovers should use nothing but Yamaha (at this price range at least)

Does the sustain pedal hold a note (on organs and strings) after releasing keys until the pedal is released? This is not the case on the P-115. On the P-115 the sustain pedal acts the same with organ and strings as it does with the piano - sustain instead of hold. In my opinion, not a good way for the sustain pedal to act with organ and strings.

It’s only an incremental step but P-125 is defo superior and feels nicer to play. The speaker housing is improved and I think they’ve tweaked the touch response both of which made it feel more natural to me.

I'd say that, when sitting in front of both models, that YDP145 sounds superior but it has a lot to do with it's piano-style cabinet which has acoustic properties - makes the sound richer and spreads it around your head/body like a traditional piano. P125 has it's benefits - it's portable, compact, etc but it necessarily has compact speakers which hamper its sound. Through headphones they're much the same. Hope that helps. Chris

Features like metronomes have a very practical use, and having extra sounds to play with is a good way to encourage you by keeping you playing. This is particularly important for children. There are some models e.g. Yamaha P45/P125 which are designed to be simple and offer very few extra features. If you're a person who like to be really creative with music then try something like a Yamaha PSR series keyboard or a Yamaha DGX660 piano. Hope that helps.

According to reviews and comments I should get the p125 instead the p115. I'm from south america and i found both of them at the exact same prize. I know tue p125 is supposed to be an improvement over the p115, but I prefer the sound of the p115. Great questions: This is how you research. Chris: Best to test; ask and receive. Don't just let the salesman sell you. Mentally envision with a fine tooth comb what you need and the expandability. Check the type of USB and MIDI, and what programs you need to be compatible. Cables and device. Attaching peripheral speakers and amps *cleanly.* Check if MIDI 5 pins. Check for the 3 pedals. Obviously, the price for the accessory package will rise exponentially. Research this too. Get the components *you* want.

They are one and the same. There is only one version of P125. Because you can get it in black or white some people choose to put a b on the end to signify the colour e.g. P125b (black) or P125wh (white).

babis dupakos no. The smart pianist is a free app to control the piano.. However, to use it as a midi controller there are many apps available for purchase. Also, don’t forget to buy an adapter to plug iPad into keyboard. It should work with garage band.
