I have 2004 R1 for the past 13 years. One of the most advanced bike for that period. I also use those diag option to regurarly check my bike. One time i was playing with exaust gas volume settings to adjust corect air mixture ratio for better performance. U can check almost everything with that mode.

Definitely need to check that out 👍

What do you mean by exhaust gas volume..?
@novakdjekic82287 ай бұрын
@@khaledkaissar5263 that means how much fuel and air being mixed. You know when you hear that popping sound when a motorcycle decelerates. That is a very rich mix of air and petrol. You can adjust that for every cylinder.

@@novakdjekic8228 wow that's insane can u send me a video how to do it please
Do you have to disconnect the fuel pump connector before entering the diagnostic mode? And if you do , how?
@sparkthego2 ай бұрын
I've vaguely recall reading that somewhere but I never did it. You don't need to do it to get diagnostic mode working but maybe as a safety precaution? Some tests actually need to fuel pump to be working like a fuel pressure down test. Having the kill switch in the off position will stop the fuel pump from running. if you really want to disconnect it you need to undo the 2 side bolts on the tank (not the pivot ones) and the front tank bolt, then pivot the tank up and pull the 2 wiring clips on the fuel pump. Probably a 10 min job.

I have a 07 model i get the H1 code most of times when i try to turn on the bike. Then after it vanishq ... What code is that? Overheating?
@sparkthego8 ай бұрын
I don’t think thats a code? Is it just that the bike is warm when you started it? Opposed to Lo when cold?
@dr.dhruvjadhav7 ай бұрын
Even at cold start i see the HI what can it be? As wel my bike suffers to start whem its hot.. I need to wait 30 min to let her cool down so she could start again. Cold start all fine Replaced the starter motor Battery Checked the voltage & al Everything is fine

can you tell me your co values?

They were all zero

@@sparkthego if you know can you tell me if a power commander installed the co values effect it?
@sparkthego2 ай бұрын
@@panosdanzis950 Yes the CO values will effect the final result because power commander applies a percentage of the ECU value. The power commander is not an absolute fuel value its a factor of the ECU value. If you change the ECU value (via CO) then the fuelling will still change even if theres a power commander.
