Yamaha R1 Y-TRAC System At Circuit Of The Americas

The Yamaha CCU (Communication Control Unit) and Y-TRAC Mobile App in use at the MotoAmerica test at Circuit of the Americas on March 18, 2015.
The onboard system is comprised of the CCU and GPS antenna. Running data can be recorded via a data logger, with course mapping and automatic lap timing managed by GPS. This data can then be wirelessly downloaded to the Android or Apple iOS app where it can be analyzed, and setting changes can be made within the app to later be uploaded to the R1M. This Yamaha exclusive Y-TRAC system gives an all new connection to the machine that has never been seen outside of the factory race pits, further blurring that line between production superbike and MotoGP® bike.

So thinking about getting this what is the benifit of this over other systems. It has gps and lean angle and throttle sensors. Can it over lay in videos like some other systems. Can it be programmed to work with the cluster to show current lap times? Or is it simply for after the race to review.

Hello, I have a R1m but I was not able to star the logging process. The cable connectors goes one to CCU, other to GPS, other to the one that connects computer to do the service, and there is one that I have no idea where to connect to. Could you please help me out
