Does any one know on here if the oem r6 clip ons would work on the r7 and if they would change position at all?

I’m gonna get some r1 m ones see if they change the riding position I know they will fit it’s just weather the bolt holes line up thru the triple and hopefully they change the angle

nice, I curious to see how it turns out. most aftermarket clip ons do not attache to the top triple like the stock ones. Let me know how it works out

@@MrSnipe25 Clip ons have to be the same diameter as the forks I am guessing R1/R6 have beefier forks? "Clip Ons" that dont clamp over the fork tube? well they cant even BE "clip ons" they are faux pretend to be to just give a general "look" is all I think R1/R6 latest gens are 43mm forks so maybe R7s are only like 41? So wont work Of course the area the clip ons clamp to are not the same diameter typically as the widest part of the outer tubes....the "43mm" or "41mm" will I assume be the steel INNER tubes which are significantly smaller OD than the outers ....the inner steel tubes have the wheel bolted to them at the bottom so they are sliding in and out of the outers held captive in your triples ...your clip ons bolt to them...just sayin

Scouts up before the roosters. Good video. I can't believe it's been 2 years since you started the t7 videos. Keep rhem coming.

nitpicking but I dont believe brake fluid is actually "corrosive" as in it does not damage molecules it touches and insted the reason it can destroy paint jobs is (as I recall learning many years ago) is actually slips between the atoms? of paint sort of diluting their bond with the metal or whatever so the pant just sort of slips right off....I mean as opposed to truly corrosive things that actually burn up or oxidize material? I imagine brake fluid wont hurt metal or rubber at all!? Like I say it is nitpicking the word "corrosive" which makes it sould like acid or something you would freak out if it got on ANYTHING especially your skin etc but I doubt brake fluid would physically hurt your skin....lol idk might be a carinogen idk but your skin is not going to melt

Nice , not 1 of the most fun jobs ,thats why I dont even fool wth upgrading to steel lines now days. 😁

Haha yea, it’s going to be a lot easier when I get rid of the ABS
@dougiequick1Күн бұрын
upgrading to braided steel lines USED to be straightforward rather simple....THEN came ABS and the rats nest of extra lines and components that make that tech possible....some particular racers get rid of all that and go back to simple which also provides the best lever feel etc....I just am too in love with ABS to ever do THAT
