Love these videos man. Got an R7 last winter and a little over my service date. With calling the dealership they want almost 500 for the service. Thank you for these. Going to save me some money!

Great video! Very informative. Any reason you are using Maxima Synthetic Chain Guard specifically?
@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
Thanks man much appreciated, I’ve always used PJ1 blue label and it’s been great but the gunk left all over the inside of the rim was always annoying to clean. The Mech where I bought my bike swore up and down about this maxima synthetic so I figured I’d give it a try, so far much less gunk all over the rims and seems to remain lubed

Is it true the rider should be on the bike when doing a chain slack measurement? Heard this from a mechanic.
@ScoutsOut2 жыл бұрын
No you don’t need to be on the bike, kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJ3PlGxnqLadm9k I did a vid on it if you want to check it out, you can also do the adjustment on stands which makes it easier but I wanted to show the most common way to do it. Cheers!!

Yo! Do you know the mm size of the swingarm spools, by chance? If you mentioned it in the video, my bad, I don't remember that you did. Thanks!

Hi I was wondering if you by any chance know if the Rizoma stealth winglet mirrors meant for the R1 will fit the R7… I been scouring the net and KZbin but no one seems to know… just thought I’d ask another fellow R7 owner Also wanted to know your thoughts on deleting the turn signals and somehow integrating them into the headlights and taillights
@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
I know the flush mounts for the MT 07 fit but they dont look like a perfect fit and need to be spliced in, I’m currently working on the integrated tail light and license plate video. I will say the integrated tail light for the R6 i bought is a perfect fit and straight up plug and play, but I’m struggling with the license plate bracket. The license plate light will be a simple re-wire but the plate for the license plate has been a pain. Ill try and get that vid out NLT next week but i am going to have to rig the plate a little.

Love your videos man, thank you for the effort you put in! I’ve been studying your videos so that I’m ready when my r7 lands next month. Will you be looking to change the rear set?

Thank you, I appreciate the comment man. Hopefully you get your bike soon, I actually like the rear sets I don’t see myself replacing them
@JamesBond-ph6hr3 жыл бұрын
@@ScoutsOut thanks mate. Yeah they land in December in Australia. Given that I’m 6’4 I think I’ll definitely need to look into the rear sets.

Any other recomendations besides Kerosene to clean the chain first?

You could go to cycle gear and buy an actual chain cleaner

Great videos, loving the consistency! If there was anything I could say from a viewer's perspective, it would be to stop overlaying music while you're talking. It doesn't necessarily drown you out completely, it's just a little distracting when I'm trying to listen to what you're saying, especially while you're vlogging on the bike and there's the engine/exhaust sound on top of the music. Thanks for the content!
@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Zach I really appreciate the feedback, good point really don’t need music in every part of the vid.. so much time editing you start losing your mind lol

Random question how bad is it living on a dirt road with a street bike. I'm thinking about buying a house and near me on dirt roads the houses are a lot cheaper but I worry about my 2 new R sevens
