I've heard so many other exhausts, but the R77 has this unique sound. A low growl and that distant noise before it approaches the listener. I have mine coming in this week. Looking forward to ditching the stock and pitting on this exhaust for my baby

@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
I got the exhaust from tst industries, I was checking many sites everyday and they just happen to come in stock but not for long I think they are out of stock again. I would say so far no issues it was plug and play no check engine lights, it was an easy install. I think you could get away with not tuning it but I definitely plan to do so

I just bought an R7. Manual says stay at 5k rpm for first 600 miles 🥲. Is it bad go above that or is it not a big deal?
@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
Congrats man!!! Technically the point of a break in period is to very the rpm as much as possible and not sit for long distances at any specific rpm. The reason for staying under 5k is less pressure and chance of picking up the small metal flakes from the engine break in and forcing them through the smaller passage ways with in the engine possibly getting them stuck instead of hanging out in the bottom of the case. If you can I would it’s a small percentage that you jack up the bike but worth the wait till the first oil change. Again congrats on the new bike!!!

@10007503 жыл бұрын
Yeah its loud but...as a everyday ride something to think about but as a fun bike I'd leave it. My 05 Gsxr 1000 had a R-55 I think it was but shorter then yours it was ulta loud headache after 30 min loud but I only did fun rides and track days no everyday rides ever. Had to wear ear plugs but with the intake and power commander tuning it was so fast you could get into serious trouble in a blink of an eye. If you have to you can ride in quite zones but just be aware of your throttle. Wonder if you tune it for no baffle but then put it in for weekday use then out for weekend how much that would mess with the tune.
@ScoutsOut3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I've noticed i can get it to be fairly quiet when I need to just change the way I use the throttle. Totally agree to tune without and only throw it in if needed, I bet that gsxr was crazy loud...cheers bro!!
