YAMAHA ROTARY VALVE #2 BREAK IN

This is one of three that was sent to us for rebuilding. We posted the 1st one we did previously and it's on the track now. This one is a recreation of the Jose Hartman engine that dominated the 100cc open class back in the mid 80s.
We are using a New Old Stock Factory piston with piston to wall clearance at .003" with .040" Squish giving us a static compression of 180 lbs. It has a KT100 cylinder that has been modified to use in the original Rotary valve head and case. installed a front boost port in KT 100 cylinder and used the front intake as the Boost port. Machined the case to accept larger transfer ports to match the cylinder. We found a factory Yamaha Rotary valve ignition for this one makes it really rare. All work done by www.speedparts.co

Next try to break in a pulse jet engine 185db+ then when the whole neighborhood complains tell them okay.. you promise to only work on 2 cycle engines from now on..only to make everyone happy as your such a good guy..lol pulse jet engines are directional so you can focus the sound on that special neighbors house..lol

Is it healthy for engine to rev it for break in?

Doesn't hurt them. They rev up to 17,000 during a race
