I think you have issues with your wiring and magnetic coil.... give your bike a health checkup from a good mechanic who is specialised in Yamaha RX....!!!

I have a rx 135 with cat exhaust....so when watching this video i'm getting that rush!!! and eagerly waiting for the next video. You should do a video on your expansive tool range. I always watch your videos as i happen to be a weekend tinkerer. Last week i painted my catcon exhaust black by means of aerosol spray. I didnt knew about your technique to remove the exhaust...so removed the full front footrest assembly then did it......>>>

it highly depend on the work that the bike needs.... but considering only aesthetics that is, new paint and crome, itll cost you around 6000/- rs. this does not include the labour charges.

Hello there, I have the same bike. I overhauled it a year ago. Last week I installed K&N performance Air filter to it and clean the carburetor. While cleaning, I removed Pilot jet, Main jet, Air nut and cleaned it with diesel. I fixed it and installed it again. Acceleration has tremendously increased but bike lags on full trottle. I even have cut the muffler pipe to reduce back pressure. Please let me know what it would be. I would be grateful if this problem is solved.

generally, when you install a performance air filter the amount of air entering the carb increases. this causes the air fuel mixture to become lean, because the jet size which comes with stock carb is not tuned to meter this extra flow of air. that is the reason its a general practice to re-jet the carb(tune the carb with proper size jets) after you install a performance air filter to get the maximum power output from the performance air filter and your bike. so i think the power lag which you are facing is might be because of that.

For jets, you can check FB groups. I guess you know the "YAMAHA RX-100/135/RXZ n RD-350" fb group with 1lac members. Someone will be able to help you get the jets. [e-mail] or the group admin Sriram Krishnan may be able to help you. Sriram has quality stock jets although a bit pricy.
