Does the engine manual provide limitations of increased idle time and the associated risk ?

What’s ur experience with Yamaha handling this issue under warranty if you tried the Yamaha carbon remover 2x and still have the issue ?

Well every dealer is going to be different, dealerships are basically like Yamaha representatives, and I'm not a Yamaha dealer. But I don't think they will do anything, it's not really a manufacturer defect, it's more about how the engine was broke in and is being ran, which isn't a factory defect that would be considered warrant-able, again I'm not a Yamaha dealer. They rely on the dealerships to fix the issue, if it's that bad you basically have to make a massive stink about it with the dealership to try and get a Yamaha rep out if they can't fix it, but that can get into complications in and of itself. Is it a brand new engine? Usually it has to do with how the engine is being ran, the conditions it's ran in, and the prop that's on the engine.
