Pete does a very good job in his tutorials. Very clear on the steps and the camera work is also very good.

Replace bolts with stainless Pete while there out AG shops usually cheapest or better is the 12.9 grade bolts (what i have on my KTM 1290 & 950) grade 12.9 hot forged blank that’s been heat treated and precision ground to spec, finished with an electroless nickel plating (MIL-C-26074) for the highest level of corrosion resistance. Hydrogen relieved and rated at 170,000 psi, Rockwell C38. Never worry about bent shock bolts again

They are going to push this fake outbreak forever and it will never go back to "normal" guys. My question is what is in this coming vaccine that is so important that they will force the entire world population to get it. I was always taught to never trust a politician and I never will. Just watch this bs is just getting started.

No where on YT showing how to remove XT660z shock. I cant get at top nut etc, do I have to remove air box to do this?
@andrea_weekenduae60583 жыл бұрын
Nice I am planning to do this also to check the greasing and to swap the spring. Was it the OEM center stand that blocked the top bolt?
@BikerBits3 жыл бұрын
I think so... Pete might see this and answer! :-)
@fullpeltadventures69673 жыл бұрын
Yes i have the oem centre stand. Regards Pete.

Nice video Pete. Thanks for that. Do I need to take the rear wheel out in order to get the shock out?
@ObanHighlander2 жыл бұрын
you don't need to remove the wheel to take the shock out, just remove the plastic guard behind the shock and obviously you need to take the weight of the back wheel, with a jack/lift, or the centre stand if you have one.
@jackchristodoulou1973 жыл бұрын
Can I ask why you took the shock out in the first place

As said, to check the bolt for any issues like the other one he found.

I am upset about all the political ads added to your posts here in the states. They have no business doing that.
