Yamaha Tenere 700 Grease the suspension linkage with OEM center stand

The Yamaha Tenere 700 is equiped with the OEM center stand.
We show how to Grease the suspension linkage of the rear shock when the center stand is mounted. Are the bearings needed to have extra grease on it? The answer you can see in this video. This is not a blog or Technical video. It is a T7 shed video made by Janny & Peet.

One little problem, you have to lub the bolts too. Even though the bushing (bus, as you called them) do not rotate around the bolt, water can get in there and rust the bolts. I have seen it happen myself on my friend's T7, and there are videos in you tube that shows rusted bolts. I'll put a link to a video that shows the rusted bolts. Go to 7:52 on that video to see the rusted bolts. A little but of grease on the bolt's body reduces or prevents rust. You place the grease on the bolt, not the inside of the bushing. If you lub the inside of the bushing, when you push the bolt through the threats will end up with grease on them. Not good! You want the threats to be 100% oil and grease free so that when you torque the bolts the friction between the bolt's threats and the threats in the nuts is enough to prevent the nuts from losing. Which is the main part about torquing things. Plus you can over torque things since the friction between those two surfaces is reduced. In essence, you md up with a false torque reading. Well, that is if you are one of those persons (like me) that like to do things correctly and by the book and actually use torque wrenches. Anyway, The point is to lub the bolt body and then push them through. I've also noticed how many people lub the bushings of the link arms and so on, but never lub the swing arm too. When I did this service on my T7, I also remove the swing arm to clean and lub it. Might has well, you have everything else off. Hello. I've have noticed a clunk in the suspension on hard hits. While I had the rear wheel up to grease the suspension I notice some play in the upper shock bolt/bushing. Also side to side movement of the link and arms. is this normal. Thanks

Mooi veel plezier met de fiets. het zadel zijn de meningen over verdeeld. het is vrij hard maar voor ons goed. het ralley zadel is comfortabeler maar ook weer hoger. Ik zou eerst zo proberen ander zadel kan altijd
