I have ridden about 200km (mostly 2nd class roads and highway) with Hyperpro front springs installed and must confirm that the improvement of bike stability (planted and sure footed) as well as the ability to absorb small bumps and fork dive (when braking) is on much higher level. Safer to ride and more fun due to a better feedback. Best upgrade for the money. Definitely recommended.

Thanks for the video! My stature is 1.65 cm. I am in love with the Tenere 700 and was giving up on this dream due to the height. On the internet I saw the possibility of replacing the original springs with those of the HYPERPRO, but I could not find any reviews. Not even the dealers have found the solution. I will often travel as a couple with my partner and I will not do challenging off road. Thanks and good way! I subscribed to your channel! :-) :-) :-)

Great Comparison Video .................... So to clarify all the changes to Janny's T7............. 1 - You moved the front forks UP the triple clamp ( HOW MUCH IS NOW EXPOSED - 25 cm - 1 inch ) .......... 2 - You changed the front springs to Hyperpro springs ( WHAT PART NUMBER ? )............. 3 - you installed Hyper Pro Rear Links ( HOW LONG? ) AND you changed the seat to a lower saddle ................ I will shorten both Center and Side stand to fit............

I was wondering about Touratech (made by Hyperbro suspensions, of Holland, for Touratech)lowering spring, with lowering link. If I am correct, these springs keep the bike at the same height but, with weight, compress easily at first, but thereafter become, progressively, stiffer for the same performance as the standard. springs. It lowers the bike by 35mm, with no adjustment of the front fork clamping. With lowering seat you can obtain another 20mm to a total of 55mm, lowering the tenere700 to 820mm, from 875mm. Touratech even claims enhanced performance, over the standard. Has anyone experience of this?

Thanks - good to see this option for riders with a shorter inseam. Did you also swap out the side stand? I did lowered links but the OEM side stand now keeps the bike too upright. Trying to fit the Rally Raid lowered side stand, but the centre stand is preventing me from doing it, will need to remove the left side so that I can get to the rear hex key bolts on the side stand.

Did you fit the lower links yourself after the bike had the OEM centre stand? I've just ordered the lowering links from Rally Raid (£20 whereas OEM are £70) and I can see the OEM centre stand needs removing before you can remove the bolts from the standard links. I think I saw a video of you removing the whole shock/spring but wonder whether removing the whole centre stand might be easier (4 bolts - 2 each side and don't have to remove the springs!). Rally Raid just suggest sliding the front forks through the triple clamps by 10mm to balance both ends.
@OumboukTravelAdventures

@@OumboukTravelAdventures Thanks for that. I had to smile when I watched the video as both my wife and I ride our own bikes. Gill currently has a Tiger 800 but is keen to swop. She did want a Multistrada 950 but even with the lower seat it was too tall and she is 170cm. Ducati are losing a lot of sales. She might buy a KTM 890 Adv although I don’t think the build quality is as good as the Yamaha. I am also 170cm which is why I need the low seat and probably the lowering links too. What other bikes have you had? I previously had an Africa Twin and before that a Multistrada 1200. Height was no problem with low seats.
