Cheers man, hope to see you out soon. Although I’m off to Montenegro and Romania in a few weeks time, so probably won’t be around before the big trip

Hi David. A great video. In fact as you know. I love all your videos. I’ve nit commented on the last couple. Because yes they are a great tv. I watched this video when it was published. But thought I’d comment today. So yes. You dropped the bike.. or as you put it… She went… Which is a not great thing. But a great thing for you to show. What could happen when your on your own. Thank god though it wasn’t at speed. Which brings me to tell you.. As you know, I’m so dying to meet you… And I did spend just under £2000 to ready my Africa Twin to get off road. Everything. Bars, engine plate. Suspension. Custom seat etc etc. But then I thought. NO. I can’t rush my back. Can’t remember if I told you ? But I have a slipped Disk. I’ve had it since 1995. But I’ve just carried on as you do. But I thought what if I do what you did at high speed. I mean to keep those Africa Twins up, you’ve got to give it some.. So after knowing and realising I could end up paralysed. I mean the doctor told me that 6 years ago. So David. I’ve traded in my AT. I’ve actually got a bobber… The Rebel. But, I’ve been on an off road experience day at Mick Extance. Also to check my leg. Because I have torn ligaments and drop foot.. so I needed to test myself… I made it. I had great fun… So. Since then it’s been churning over in my head. So I’ve ordered a Honda Crf 300l. Got to wait until September. It wasn’t my first choice. The Beta RR Was. But the service intervals on the Honda are way better… So. I might still get chance to meet you. And have a ride along side with you. ??? Might be a bit slower 😆 But I’ve got to make it happen.. Again though. There is nothing better say at home when free watching your videos. It’s some of the best tv… great stuff. David… 👍

Hi Dave great to hear from you and thanks for taking the time to send the message through. It sure would be good to meet up once you take delivery of your CRF in September, because it would be a real pleasure to meet you. Keep well, and thanks for such great comments on the channel, I really appreciate it 👍👍👍

Is it ever dry??? What tail rack do you have, I like the handles and rear rack combo? Enjoy your video's, very entertaining.

Hahaha “is it ever dry” thanks Glenn, there are still loads of puddles here… the rear luggage rack was from ebay seller “accessories4motorcycle” I’ll try and find the link and post it here in a bit

Excellent video...what a joy to be out on the bike! And a pat on the back for self recovery 👏👏 . Ps, what make are the bags on your crash bars please...? Cheers Steve

@@stepheneldridge6998 thanks Steve, it sure was a superb day out, one of those days that you think, you know what, this truly is a spectacular blue sky day. The crash bar waterproof bags are by the Scottish brand “Lomo” I’ve had em for about two years and they are still 100% waterproof, and durable too, I’ve crashed a couple times, and they survived
