In this video I show my process of how I install blinkers and make electrical connections.

I learned something new today. I am considering to buy T700 and trying to know more about it. In my youth and university time I have rode bike a lot and even after graduation few years. Thinking to buy one to enjoy the thrill again.

Hey Walter, really nice and clear instructions. Thank you. Can you show where we plug the relay please?

Love your videos. Very informative I am getting my bike in 12 days time and I have a box full of goodies to install. One of them being the PDM 60. Question for you is where did you tap into for the trigger. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Hello Walter, I was just courious, dose the green blinker light on your dash just remain green when the blinkers are on and no longer blink along with the blinkers? I also installed a two wire front blinker and I belive not using the third wire is causing the dash light to no longer blink. Thanks

I installed leds on my T7, did a mock up and test, worked, then heat shrinked and buttoned everything up, now Im blowing fuses. I heat wrapped everything individually and then a bigger piece around all wires. Not sure what I did wrong, like I said I tested everything before permanently connecting.

I agree with you on the big ugly signals, total crap for today's standards. Any chance you have info on the exact setup you went with? Thanks!

Walter can I put led in front and leave oem in back without new relay? I know they’ll blink faster.
@waltersprang3 жыл бұрын
Robert Feliciano I believe so! But they may also just stay on.

I agree 100% with you on the method of soldering 2 wires together. The problem that I always face following this method is that by the time I get the copper wire hot enough for the solder to melt on to it, the wire plastic sheathing would've badly melted. I there a way to avoid that?

Terry Masri not that I know of Terry. I would recommend stripping more back and then heat shielding it. It may help to have a higher powered soldering iron that heats up quicker and work a bit quicker.

@@waltersprang Sounds reasonable. I also found that applying soldering paste (flux) on to the wire before applying heat then solder also seems to speed things up and get better results. I'm speaking from not much experience here and lots of trial and error.

Maybe it’s just me but I go the other way in these connectors, I much prefer to crimp on bullet style connectors with the soft boots, most wires in the bike terminates in a crimp and now you have a connector you can disconnect if you need to take the panel off. 🤷🏻♂️

What relay did you get off eBay

I just googled led blinker relay and found one. I actually think it was amazon.. www.amazon.com/2-Pin-Electronic-Flasher-Motorcycle-Signal/dp/B073J82PNF/ref=pd_lpo_263_t_0/147-2760234-5587008?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B073J82PNF&pd_rd_r=6220b5f9-4d56-464f-9102-8f6d16320808&pd_rd_w=9ICQ4&pd_rd_wg=rWd30&pf_rd_p=7b36d496-f366-4631-94d3-61b87b52511b&pf_rd_r=ZATNVPGR5HFTFT8DYEY6&psc=1&refRID=ZATNVPGR5HFTFT8DYEY6

Should have added links to items. Yamaha adapters i bought from amazing don’t fit
@waltersprang3 жыл бұрын
Jorge Gutierrez oh no! I am still working out the kinks on everything for KZbin. Which adapters are you speaking of? The plates for the holes? If so try Rally RAID in the UK or Off The Road in Germany.

Are the blinkers from Amazon also?
@waltersprang4 жыл бұрын
P R1 no they were purchased from off the road in Germany. But there are several on amazon too
