hi, sorry for my bad english. Do you use metal or paper oil filter on your ttr?

Hey, I use a Paper one! The bike does have a metal like filter behind the drain plug.

Those things you said to clean out that get filled with oil. How do you clean them ?

You can clean them good in soap and warm water and then re oil them.

Hey Man, it is a good air filter, I just bought a decent one with it already “oiled”, the UNI brand is probably the best though just a little more expensive.

To be honest I am not sure, is it possible you have to much oil in your bike? Do you “oil” ur filter with the filter oil or do you submerge the bike in area’s, and or does it smell like gasoline

@@RidingwithDylan maybe too much oil but I always make sure it’s between the two lines on the oil level marker. And yes I oil my filter with filter oil. No I don’t submerge. If it does smell like gasoline what does that mean. Have you ever had that problem ?

I have only had this problem on other machines like a chainsaw or snowblower not the bike but this is something that happens, from what I thought is that there is to much oil in the crankcase and it “spues” out from the pressure build up, I know you can check the window for level but I only ever just put the exact amount the factory specs say
