After waiting nearly halfway through the summer, the Gate near fall river is finally open! I have yet to explore past this gate so it's should be an interesting ride. I find a neat overlook spot and almost get my bike stuck in a bad place again. I spend most of the day wandering around aimlessly just for fun and finally find a sweet camping spot. Thanks for watching and don't forget to go on your own ADVenture!

I have been riding for 30 years. I have had almost every kind of bike but never a TW200. Yesterday I walked into my local Yamaha dealer in Maine. Jokingly I asked if they would be getting any TW's in the foreseeable future? I can't believe they said two of them are on the way to the shop & should be here next week! The sales person said that one of them was already spoken for. I instantly gave them a deposit for the other one! Watching your videos made it a no brainer for me. Thanks

HAHA, IwoTDubs, lol. So, my only remaining qualm about getting a TW200 is because I want to reprise all the years of crawling all over the San Juan mountains around Ouray and Telluride but serious concerns about a tiny carb with me on it, lol. But your "11,500" comment makes me think it will make 12,000. This has probably convinced me to go for it! UDDUB! :)

FYI--WES--Nat'l Forest service guidelines re: food storage in trees are: 10' off of the ground and 4' away from the tree trunk. This summer I had 4 encounters with bears at night, while in my tent, in Montana: None of them tried to come into my tent although they were growling just a few feet away. My garbage was 100 yards away and stored according to Forest Service guidelines and my 10 mm was in my hand and chambered with 15 rounds of bear rounds in the magazine!! One of the reasons they didn't tear into my tent was because I was practicing good food storage.😮

@@TDubsKid PS. I commented about rocks and trees in one of your other videos. As a side note, in the Bible trees often symbolize men and rocks or Stones often symbolize God's word. In other words, don't build your house on Sand but rather on rock, that is, on God's word. Also when Jesus was healing a blind man he said to Jesus in the midst of the healing, I see men as trees. By the way, traveling with your 4Runner and your TW which brings in new terrain causes your videos to be even more interesting. Thanks!

Bear bag: That's not nearly high enough. I use an old white Ursack for backpacking. Tie off to stump instead.

@trappinout18

@@TDubsKid Yeah. Mine is white from ten years ago. I put a piece of sheet metal to surround my food to deter the bear from nom-noming my food into jelly. Given lack of tall trees in Colorado and weight saving, the Ursack has been a winner. I have several version of plastic bear containers but they are heavy and harder to pack.

Good morning tdubs. I'm new to the channel, and wanted to sayy the quality of your videos are amazing. You've pretty much sold me on the idea of buying a tw as a daily driver since i live 15 minutes from work. Any who, i was wandering if you could by any chance do a q&a? Also have a nice day. Also, next time you out ridding, tell Mr. Rock i said hi.

I have a TW200 and WR250R. The TW is a great beginner bike or as a secondary bike, but the WR and the new Kawasaki and Honda 300s are definitely more versatile. Fuel injection is much better if you’re going to be changing elevations frequently too.
